Welcome to the Edinburgh University Debates Union!
I am immensely proud that EUDU offers every student the opportunity to build confidence and master the art of debate. Whether your goal is to compete on the international stage or simply polish your public speaking skills, the value of debate is immeasurable, and truly unlike anything else you'll experience on campus.
On a personal level, debate has not only driven my own growth, but it has also been at the heart of my favourite university memories, from unforgettable socials to endless travels. It is an honour to serve as your President this year as we build upon our rich legacy and vibrant community.
With the grand reopening of Teviot and an incredible lineup of varsity debates ahead, this year promises to be our biggest and best yet. I can't wait to welcome you all!
